It's easy to check!
The new 2.0TSI EA888 Gen.3B 'Miller cycle' engines (all producing around 190hp) are becoming ever more popular across the VWG range. But it's easy to verify your car if you're not sure.
​
As these 2.0 TSI engines are the only ones that use a Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) it's very simple to check.
Does it have this sensor and wiring shown in the picture? That's the MAF sensor, which means you have the EA888.3B engine.
